Fred Astaire Dance Studios Barcelona is the first Fred Astaire Dance Studios location in Spain, bringing an internationally recognized dance methodology to the heart of Barcelona.
We teach adults of all ages and levels through a combination of private lessons, group classes and social dance practices. From Salsa, Bachata and Tango to Ballroom and Latin styles, our programs are designed not only to help you learn to dance, but also to build confidence, stay active and meet new people.
Our international team teaches in a friendly and welcoming environment, making the studio a great place for both locals and Barcelona’s international community. No previous dance experience and no partner are required.
Beyond regular lessons, we organize social practices, workshops and special events where students and guests can dance, connect and enjoy the social side of learning to dance.
Whether you are completely new to dancing or looking to take your skills further, our goal is simple: help you feel comfortable on the dance floor and become part of a community.
Intro Dance Lesson – Your First Step onto the Dance Floor
Curious about dancing but not sure where to start? Our Intro Lesson is a 30-minute private session designed to introduce you to the Fred Astaire Dance Studios experience.
During your lesson, you will:
• Try 2–3 different dance styles based on your interests
• Learn some basic steps with your own instructor
• Discover which dances feel most natural and enjoyable for you
• Learn how our Private Lessons, Group Classes and Social Practices work together
• Discuss your goals and find the best program for you
No previous dance experience is needed, and you don't need to bring a partner. The lesson is completely adapted to your level and goals.
