About the company:

Its flagship product, we aim to provide hoteliers and hosts with a convenient all-in-one solution that makes it really easy for them to manage online bookings, guests and travel agencies. Today, our customer base consists of 20,000 small independent B&Bs, Guesthouses, Vacation Rental Owners and Hotels using our platform day-in day-out to run their business.

Born out of a joint project with the UK Government over ten years ago, where we ran the UK’s National Tourism Database, has reinvented itself since its acquisition by Private Equity Group Investcorp, mid 2011. Having radically changed its business model, we are now a vibrant young company, with offices in the UK, France, Germany, Austin TX and more recently in Malaga, Spain.

The company has regularly made the Times top 100 Tech Track index and its flagship product has won many prestigious awards since 2016, including the sought after Travolution award for best technology and Expedia’s global innovation award. It is also enjoys strategic preferred partnerships with the Airbnb, Booking.com and Expedia groups.

Responsibilities

About the role:

We are seeking a C# developer to work in our Backend team expanding our core transactional logic in terms of functionality. As a top tier partner with the online travel agencies and providing a SaaS platform, the backend team is the core of solution and is always mindful of that building a great product means driving good architecture, quality code, while maintaining high transactional performance while delivering value to our customers the small independent accommodation providers.

Our Property Management System takes away the burdensome tasks of managing online bookings, taking payments, gaining wide coverage on line travel agencies (OTAs) and ensuring an offering remains competitive regardless of its size and property style (Vacation Rental, or Hotel). It circulates listings to a who’s-who of online travel including OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia, etc), and vacation rental sties (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.) and review sites (TripAdvisor). Operating accommodation is a demanding, full time job – we use technology to give owners their time back.

Requirements

Requirements:

At least 2-3 years of experience.

To deliver it, teams are divided into Ops, Product Design, UX and three specialist development teams (Frontend, Backend, and Connectivity).

We code in C# (.NET Core, and .NET Framework 4.8), using MVC, Web API, and JavaScript (React, JQuery) but take a business-first approach to our stack, building in open source technologies like Redis, RabbitMQ and ElasticSearch where it makes sense to do so. Our platform has a large distributed architecture composed of many sub-domains and micro-services, we practice TDD and have a continuous delivery pipeline using TeamCity including seamless testing and deployment.

Benefits

The Company Offers

  • Competitive salary up to 50.000 Euros
  • Permanent and full-time contract.
  • Remote working (from the UK, Spain, France or Germany)
  • Combine success and fun within a great diverse company culture together with smart, driven people
  • The company prides itself in an open highly diverse culture, where what matters is not who you are, but what you can do or learn, to help the company move forward!
