We’re on the hunt for an experienced and data-driven Head of Development to lead the technical vision behind our growing portfolio of hit mobile titles—including WordMaker, Solitaire, and Brick Blast.
If you’re a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves mentoring world-class developers, and is excited about AI-assisted game development, this role is for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities:
- Architect and own the technical foundation across WordMaker, Solitaire, and Brick Blast.
- Hire, coach, and elevate high-performance Unity developers working in 2-person agile pods.
- Define engineering workflows, coding standards, and best practices for AI-assisted development.
- Set up and maintain lightweight CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and telemetry for iOS & Android.
- Enable autonomous pods to build, test, and deploy with speed and confidence.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
- 5+ years of technical leadership in mobile gaming with Unity & C#.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD (e.g., Unity Cloud Build, GitHub Actions), automated testing, and analytics integrations.
- Proven ability to mentor and grow senior developers into tech leads or high-autonomy engineers.
- Hands-on experience implementing AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., Copilot, GPT-assisted QA).
- Proven success building lean teams from scratch with high velocity and low overhead.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Background in mobile game monetization systems (IAP/ads).
- Experience mentoring early-career devs or technical leads.
- Familiarity with analytics platforms like Firebase, GameAnalytics, or Amplitude.
