The Allianz Technology Finance Hub in Barcelona is looking for a Controlling Expert.
Job Role
The Controlling Expert plans, forecasts, reports, analyzes, and challenges Financial KPIs and their main driver for services, projects and line cost centers in close collaboration with the business, and co-ordinates improvement measures. He/she/they advises and supports managers in all financial controlling topics. Furthermore, the Controlling Expert is responsible for implementation of controlling processes and systems and ensuring compliance to controlling-relevant standards.
Responsibilities
What role will you play?
You will analyze financial performance of the company, identify key drivers, risks and opportunities and provide recommendations in a transparent and visual way to enable decision-making
You will create and provide financial analyses, reports and dashboards for various stakeholders (ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, yearly base)
You will be responsible for monthly analysis of expenses and reporting templates completions
You will monitor actuals vs. plan, analyses deviations and their drivers, recommend measures to ensure plan achievement and tracks ongoing progress of e.g. major project initiatives
You will develop recommendations for financial targets within the strategic and operational planning and forecasting process (long-, mid- and short term perspective)
You will perform annual planning delivery of planbook input for budgeting, staff costs input in SAP during budget & costs and revenue planning
You will support and challenge business representatives based on financial analysis
You will manage pricing processes, approve prices and supports calculation, and coordinate transfer pricing compliance, liaising with procurement on costs for contracts
You will manage billing processes, approve invoices, supports on billing queries, update service descriptions etc
You will support pricing of fully managed services to PxQ (long term)
You will contribute, establish and further develop guidelines, methods, processes and systems for controlling topics
You will advise business in business case development, evaluate financial impact and provide recommendations for top-management decisions on projects
Requirements
Requirements
4 to 7 years of experience in a similar role
Relevant work experience e.g. in accounting, controlling etc.
Higher education degree in finance, business administration, economics or related area
Possessing controlling, economic and business knowledge
Experienced in the application of systems that are relevant for Controlling, e.g. SAP FI-CO/BW
Applying analytical thinking, methodological and conceptual as well as moderation and presentation techniques
Quick understanding of existing procedures and ability to carry out concrete tasks in efficient cooperation with team members and other colleagues
Ability to work fully independent and solve complex problems or situations based on multiple sources of information
Capability to take up responsibility and be accountable for a project or a team
Role model character with talent to drive new ideas and take new perspectives to challenge existing solutions
Possessing understanding of (IT) service management and (IT) service organizations
