Are you looking for a job in Barcelona? From Monday 2nd May – Tuesday 31st May, Barcelona Expat Life (together with our partners) will be hosting the  ‘Work in Barcelona!’ month. With free webinars and workshops, career guidance and daily activities and tips to make sure that you will find your dream job in no-time!

How to participate at the Work in Barcelona! fair?

  1. Sign-up for the job fair on Tuesday May 24th from 16.00 – 20.00
  2. Follow our socials to receive daily tips and to get in touch with companies hiring in Barcelona!

The fair is the event to attend for everyone who is looking for job or interested in working in Barcelona! There will be several recruitment agencies at the fair, but also companies that help you with anything you need in order to start your work life in Barcelona!

The fair will feature stands from:

WHAT IS 'WORK IN BARCElONA! '?

This initiative consists of a month full of hybrid activities and events, focussed on helping multilinguals find a job in Barcelona. Whether you’re an expat already living in Barcelona, or you’re wanting to relocate, during the month you’re bound to find something that’s beneficial to your job search. 

 

During ‘Work in Barcelona!’ we will provide videos, articles and infographics with more information about what it’s like to work in Barcelona and how to find a job.

 

The month is divided in 4 theme weeks:

Week 1: Job Search Tools and Social Media Presence

This week we will provide you with the necessary information to kick-start your job search and career. Including, job search tools, a Barcelonian style CV and how to present yourself on social media.

Week 2: Spanish Work Culture

This week we will provide you with all the information necessary to help you integrate into the real Spanish working lifestyle. Think about cultural differences, what companies are located, and Spanish payslips.

Week 3: Necessary paperwork and documents (sponsored by Teleperformance Spain)

This week we will guide you to ensure arranging your paperwork and documents will run smoothly and that you are ready to start your new job in Barcelona.

Week 4: Living in Barcelona (sponsored by Webfleet Solutions)

We will close the month with everything that comes with living in Barcelona apart from work. Think about establishing a social life, transport, healthcare, language learning, and housing.
