DESCRIPTION

As an intercultural communication trainer, I combine the aspects of language and cultural awareness before, during and after moving to a new environment.

Knowing that cultural struggles are waiting for you is one thing, experiencing them is the real challenge.

Focusing on the Dutch and Spanish cultures, I help individuals improve their communication when they are in contact or collaborating with people from these cultures. Whether it's by learning the language, making the next step in their international career or creating a social network. Together, we reach the goals in a way that works best for them to reduce their culture shock.

Examples of topics that can be discussed during my programmes or courses:
• What does 'culture' mean and how can it be reflected?
• What are your own cultural preferences and how do these compare to the new culture?
• What are the topics most important to living and/or working abroad? (For example: hierarchical distance, direct and indirect communication and time management)
• How to improve your Dutch language?
• What hands-on tools can you always apply when finding yourself in an unfamiliar situation?

Programmes will be tailored depending on the objectives and context, so let's have a call to meet each other and have a chat!
