Is the event free?
Yes, the event is 100% free! Reserving a ticket is simply required to prevent overcrowding and to obtain your consent for photography during the event.
Do I need to sign up for the workshops and talks?
They’re free with your general admission ticket. No separate sign-up is needed—just arrive early, as spots are first-come, first-served.
Is it possible to change the allocated entry time slot?
Specific entry times prevent excessive crowding and ensure all visitors have the chance to explore the event in a comfortable and spacious setting. If you’re unable to stick to the time you selected, you’re welcome to come a bit earlier or later. We’re flexible!
Where is the entrance to the event and will it be signposted?
Time Out Market is located in Maremagnum (Moll d’Espanya, 5). The venue is directly accessible from the street via escalators and a lift. There will also be signs placed outside the building to help guide you.
Which companies are participating in the event?
You will find an overview of the participating companies on the ‘Exhibitors’ tab.
Where are the workshops and talks taking place?
In the event room. You can find the event room within Time Out Market Barcelona and there will be signs to point you in the right direction.
Can students find internships at the event?
Yes, students will have possibilities to find internship opportunities during the job fair.
How can I prepare for the event?
Update your CV and bring multiple copies, research participating companies, and prepare a brief personal introduction. Also bring a notebook to take notes during conversations with recruiters.
Is it necessary to bring a CV?
Work in Barcelona! Job Fair is an informal event and there are no specific rules to follow. Although we do recommend bringing multiple copies of your CV, business cards if you have them, and a notepad for taking notes.
Is there a dress code?
You can wear what you feel comfortable in. That said, we advise business casual attire as it creates a good first impression with potential employers.
What are the next steps after the event?
We advise you to reach out to the people you’ve met during the job fair, that’s why it is crucial to make sure you exchange contact details during the job fair to be able to keep in touch. Sending them an email or a LinkedIn invite is a good way to send them a gentle reminder.
What happens if I don't find a job at the job fair?
If you don’t find a job do not worry, we have many job vacancies on our website and update them regularly.
How can I enter the giveaway for the shark cage diving?
Attendees of the job fair can write their name and email/phone number on a piece of paper and drop it into a box. At the end of the day, we’ll randomly draw two lucky winners!
Is Time Out Market easily accessible by public transport?
Time Out Market is conveniently located in a prime area of Barcelona, on the second floor of the Maremàgnum (Moll d’Espanya, 5) in Port Vell. It’s directly accessible from the street via escalators and a lift.
For a quick metro trip, take Line 4 (the yellow line) to Barceloneta station, which is about a 12-minute walk away.
Alternatively, you can opt for Line 3 (the green line) to Drassanes station, though that’s roughly a 20-minute walk.
Several bus lines serve the Maremàgnum area, including H14, V13, and V17. The nearest bus stop is Pg Joan De Borbó – Judici, located only a 2 minute walk away. Other nearby stops include Port Vell (3 minutes), Torre de Sant Sebastià (5 minutes), and more if you prefer a longer stroll.
For those who prefer the train, the R1 and S1 lines stop close to Maremàgnum, offering another seamless way to reach Time Out Market.
Will there be parking facilities available?
The car park C.C. Maremagnum is a public car park open for booking. It is ideally located in the shopping centre Maremagnum.
What is Time Out Market?
Ever read one of Time Out’s guides, like ‘The best restaurants in Barcelona’ or ‘Barcelona’s Best bars’?
The aim was to bring these dining guides to life, and the result is a very exciting culinary journey, as diverse as it is delicious. The first Time Out Market was in Portugal: Time Out Market Lisbon opened in 2014 and has since become a fixture of the city. Since then, they have opened markets in New York, Cape Town, Boston, Chicago, Dubai, Montreal, and, in May 2024, Porto.
The venue covers an enormous 5,250 square meters and features two terraces with 360° views of the sea, the port, and the city.

Hungry for a culinary adventure? Time Out Market Barcelona is a food hall like no other – a veritable feast where endless choices await. Imagine the best of Catalan cuisine rubbing shoulders with authentic Mexican, gourmet steak, artisanal pizza, decadent puddings, and so much more. Is there a limit to the number of representatives per booth?
No, there is no limit. Feel free to bring the team members necessary to engage with potential candidates effectively.
Can we customise our booth space?
Consider hosting interactive activities, providing informational materials and showcasing your company culture. Engaging displays, promotional materials and approachable staff members can make your booth more attractive to job seekers.
How can we promote our participation in the event?

Will there be any food/beverages provided to exhibitors?
Lunch will not be provided. We advise exhibitors to coordinate lunch breaks among their staff to ensure booth coverage.
