Dinners That Matter

Who knew that giving back could be as simple as going out to dinner?

Dinners That Matter (DTM) is a non-profit organisation whose purpose is to raise awareness and create a network that provides long-term support for the most vulnerable members of our community in Barcelona.

Four times a year (every quarter), DTM hosts events which are open to members of the public. At each event, participating restaurants donate 25% of their sales to the Foundation selected in order to raise funds for local Charities. Each quarter is dedicated to a different Charity so that throughout the year, there is the opportunity to highlight the many diverse issues affecting our community.

By working closely with other Associations and NGOs that support young people, the elderly, people at risk of exclusion, and people suffering from illness, Dinners that Matter are able to fulfil their mission of being able to innovate in order to make a better world, especially for those who need it the most”. Besides raising awareness, DTM also strives to achieve a number of other things to help the most vulnerable members of the Barcelona community:

If you want to get involved in the next Dinners that Matter event, all you have to do is make a reservation at one of the collaborating restaurants on any of the dates released on the DTM website.

There are no set times or set menus; you can have anything you like whether that is a cerveza and a small tapas dish, or a 3-course meal. The beauty of these events is that no extra charges are added to your bill; you just pay for dinner as usual and know that 25% is being donated to charity.
