Barcelona International Community Day
Saturday - 23/10/2021
The Maritime Museum
10am - 7pm
One thing you really shouldn’t miss as an expat in Barcelona, is the international community’s big annual get-together! The Barcelona City Council organises the ‘Barcelona International Community Day’; a fair featuring various exhibition stands for companies, organisations, international schools and NGOs with the aim of offering all the necessary tools, knowledge and contacts to help the international community continue to grow. The 7th Barcelona International Community Day will be an all-day event, completely free of charge, with an extensive programme that includes a wide variety of activities.
Back to (net)work!
The slogan of this year’s Barcelona International Community Day is ‘Back to (net)work!’, as the event aims to bring everybody back together, strengthening relations between the international community and the city and its involvement in the recovery and reactivation of Barcelona.
BICD 2021 will be a hybrid event, meaning that not only will the event take place in person, but one of the activity rooms will also be streamed live on the event’s website.
More than 70 exhibitors will be present at the fair, including renowned companies and public authorities/associations from a variety of sectors, all showcasing what they have to offer at their stands and information points on the day.
There will also be more than 50 activities held during the course of the day, each divided into different categories:
- Personal Landing
- Working and Doing Business
- Enjoying the City
If you’re still wary of being out in big crowds and haven’t had your vaccine yet, there will be a mobile COVID vaccination point at the Barcelona International Community Day for those who are interested.
