What are the requirements for creating an Organisation Profile?

Your organisation should provide products, services or opportunities relevant to Barcelona’s international community. All Organisation Profiles must be created in English and are reviewed by our team to ensure they meet our quality standards before being published.

Do I need to email my organisation information to you?

No. When you create your Organisation Profile, you will complete an online form where you can add all of your organisation’s information, images and other relevant details yourself.

When will my listing be approved?

Your listing will be reviewed and approved within 24 hours.

How can I edit my Organisation Profile or listing?

Log in to the Barcelona Expat Life Business Portal and go to My Listings to make changes. After submitting your updates, they may need to be reviewed by our team before they are published. This approval process normally takes up to 24 hours.

I made changes to my listing and its no longer visibile, why?

If you make changes to your listing, it may need to go through the review process again. We will check your updates and approve your listing within 24 hours.

How can I upgrade my plan?

You can upgrade your profile through your account via My Listings > Switch Plan, or contact our team directly.

What can I promote through my Organisation Profile?

Depending on your package, you can also promote events, open days, job vacancies, holiday camps, discounts, services and other opportunities.

What's the difference between Free, Featured, Promoted and Plus Plans?

The Free Plan includes a basic Organisation Profile listing with limited features and the lowest visibility in search results. Featured and Promoted Plans offer enhanced profile features and increased visibility.

Featured+ and Promoted+ plans are designed for organisations with multiple locations. They allow you to create unlimited Organisation Profiles, with one Organisation Profile required for each location.

My organisation has multiple locations, can I list them all?

Yes. Organisations with multiple locations require a separate Organisation Profile for each location. A Plus Plan is required to add multiple Organisation Profiles, allowing each location to have its own information, visibility and contact details.

Are paid plans automatically renewed?

No. Paid plans are not automatically renewed. We will always contact you before renewing your plan.

Can I pay by card?

Yes. We accept payment by credit or debit card. If you would prefer to pay by bank transfer, please contact our team and we will be happy to assist.

I forgot my password, what do I do?

On the Business Portal login page, click ‘forgot password?’ and follow the instructions sent to your email address to reset your password and regain access to your account.

Can I change my email address used to log in?

Yes. Please contact our team and we will update the login email associated with your account.

Why can't I upload a larger image?

Image size limits help us maintain website speed and provide a smooth experience for all users.

Are website links in my listing follow or no-follow?

All website links included in BCN Life Explorer listings are no-follow links.

I can't find a suitable category for my organisation, what can I do?

Contact our team and we will be happy to help find the best solution or discuss adding a relevant category.

We provide services to internationals, can we still participate?

Certainly! There are dedicated booths available to assist newcomers with paperwork and adjusting to the city. Our exhibitor packages are also suitable for companies providing services to the international community.

Why should we exhibit?

Exhibiting gives you the opportunity to meet international talent, increase brand visibility, promote your organisation and connect directly with Barcelona’s international community in one place.

Are there a limited number of booths availble for each service category?

Yes. To ensure a balanced event experience, we limit the number of booths available per service category, such as housing providers, paperwork services and language schools. Booth allocation is based on a first-come, first-served basis.

How can we promote our participation in the event?

Promote your participation on social media, newsletters and other communication channels. Use the official event hashtag (#workbarcelona) and share information about any exclusive opportunities or activities your organisation will offer during the job fair.

Can I enhance my visibility on the event?

Yes. We offer optional add-ons to help partners maximise their presence, including professional photo and video content through Blão Studio, as well as design support through Design by Anouk for materials such as roll-up banners, flyers, posters and QR codes.

Is there a limit to the number of representatives per booth?

No, there is no limit. Feel free to bring the team members necessary to engage with potential candidates effectively.

Can we customise our booth space?

Yes. You’re welcome to bring banners, displays, promotional materials and other items to make your booth engaging and representative of your organisation. Please ensure your setup remains within your allocated booth space and does not obstruct walkways or neighbouring exhibitors. If you’re unsure whether something is suitable, feel free to contact our team before the event.

Is WiFi available at the venue?

Yes. WiFi is available throughout the venue. A member of our team will provide the network details when you arrive and set up your booth.

Are table cloths provided for booths?

No, tablecloths are not provided. Exhibitors are welcome to bring their own if desired.

Is parking provided for exhibitors?

No, parking is not provided by the event organisers. Exhibitors should make their own parking arrangements if required.

Will water, refreshments or lunch be provided?

No. Food and drinks are not included for exhibitors, and external food and drinks are not permitted. Time Out Market Barcelona offers a wide variety of food and drink options available to purchase throughout the day.

Are catering or group options available?

Do I need to have a TikTok account to participate?

No. If you have a TikTok account, we recommend hosting the live session there. If not, or if TikTok Live isn’t available on your account, we can host the session on Instagram instead.

Is it possible to do a test run in advance?

Yes. We schedule a test run before every live session to make sure everything runs smoothly on the day.

Do we also need to promote the live session ourselves?

We will promote the live session across our channels. We also encourage partners to share it with their own audience to maximise reach and engagement.

Can we collaborate on a live session outside of Study in Barcelona! Week?

Yes. We regularly collaborate with organisations through live sessions on TikTok and Instagram. These sessions are a great way to showcase your expertise, share information, and connect with people interested in studying, working or living in Barcelona.
